Mrs. Betty L. Pease, age 76, died Wednesday, August 29, 2001. She was born in Dowogiac, MI on July 26, 1925 to Phillip & Flossie Schoff. Prior to retiring in 1988, Mrs. Pease had been employed as a Receptionist for the Department of Social Services for 10 years, had served on the election board for Egelston Township & was a former member of the Dowogiac Eagles.
SURVIVORS
4 sons, Joe Pease of TX, Jim Pease of Hesperia, MI, O. Bruce Pease of OR & Dennis Pease of Marlton, NJ; 3 daughters, Sharon Card of Harrison, MI, Nancy Payne of FL & Betty Dyl of MA; 3 sisters, Mary Starrett, Pat Taggert & Wilma Buchanan, all of Dowogiac, MI; 1 brother, Robert Schoff, also of Dowogiac, MI as well as several grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers & by 3 sisters.
