We pause this hour in memory of Darlene Patricia McDaniel, who passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2001. She was born August 22, 1948 in Muskegon, Michigan to Mack and Clancie Lester. Darlene dedicated her life to The Lord at an early age and became a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church.
Darlene graduated from Muskegon Senior High School and attended Muskegon Community College. Darlene united with Vernell McDaniel in marriage and out of this union was blessed with two loving children.
Darlene was gainfully employed as a Legal Secretary for Legal Aid of Western Michigan. Her kindness and generosity shall always be remem-bered. She was a true servant of God, who loved her family and friends. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, gardening and reading.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her loving mother Clancie Lester, son Eric Monica McDaniel of Grand Rapids, Michigan, daughter Collette Scottie McKinley, brothers John Dorothy Lester, Harold Lester, Arthur Lester and Jarvis Betty Lester all of Muskegon, Michigan. Sisters, Sandra Lester of Altadena, California and Phyllis Edwin Tucker of Westhills, California, one special aunt Ruby Lewis of Pasadena, California. Seven grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her father Mack Lester. Darlene was loved and respected by her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
