Mr. Ralph C. Hackney, age 83, died Thursday, March 29, 2001. He was born in Pascola, MO on September 26, 1917 to James & Mary Brannan Hackney & married the former Bonna Carrick on March 9, 1940. Mr. Hackney had been employed as a Core Maker at C.W.C. for 38 years prior to retiring in 1975. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport & enjoyed woodworking & carpentry.

SURVIVORS

3 sons, Danny Bernita Hackney of TN, Alan Pam Hackney of Caledonia, MI & Ralph Cindy Hackney, Jr. of MD; 1 daughter, Suzanne Pat McCabe of Grand Haven, MI; 1 sister, Ella Paul Doville of MO; 10 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonna.

Monday, April 2, 2001, 11:00 AM at Bethel Baptist Church of Fruitport with Rev. Stephen Worth officiating. Interment at Fruitport Township Cemetery
