Deocelie Bhagwandeen (Colie), 83 Years Old, of North Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on August 28, 2019.
The funeral service will be held on September 1st from 2:00P- 4:00P at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the funeral.
Deocelie was born in Santa Flora, Trinidad on May 21,1936. She was married to Lalman Bhagwandeen on April 6, 1950; they were married for 48 years.
Deocelie loved to cook, enjoyed watching her soap operas, and loved spending time with her entire family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Deocelie is survived by her siblings: Dolcie, Meena, Jimboy, Gullina, Romey, and Devika as well as her children: Beeran, Polo, Babya, Beharry, Premnath, Rajnauth, and Anjani. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren: Renuka, Naresh, Reshma, Rishi, Nin, Anissa, Prema, Avinash, Khailash, Savi, Aartee, and Roshni as well as 19 great grandchildren.
Deocelie is preceded in death by her husband: Lalman Bhagwandeen. As well as her siblings: Bakay, Laloo, and Roopchan.
