MUSCATINE, Iowa - Guadalupe Gonzalez, 46, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m.on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Ss Mary Mathias Catholic Church. Reverend Hai Dinh will officiate. A time of food and fellowship will be at their home following the mass.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. A rosary prayer service will held at 6:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the care of Pedro. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Guadalupe was born on October 26, 1972, in Tijuana, Mexico, the daughter of Aldolfo and Guilliermena Barragan Ortega. She married Pedro Gonzalea on October 25, 1991, in Tijuana, Mexico.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, gardening and going on walks. She also enjoyed attending church.
Those left to honor her memory including her husband, Pedro Gonzalez of Muscatine; her children, Pedro, Jose, Angel, and Elza Gonzalez, all of Muscatine; her grandchild, Kruz Gonzalez of Muscatine; her brother, Reguio Ortega of Tijuana; and her sisters, Rosario Ortega of San Diego, CA, and Lucia Ortega of Tijuana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Rosa Angel Ortega and Mari Cruz; and her brother, Aldolfo Ortega.
