Deena Rech, 47, of Axtell, NE, passed away August 27, 2019 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Glenwood, Iowa with Father Dan Siepker officiating. Burial will be in the Malvern Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the church from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Glenwood in charge of arrangements.

Deena was born on June 8, 1972 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Donald Francis and Paula Jean (Berg) Rech. She graduated from Bellevue East High School in 1992. Deena was a resident of Mosaic Village in Axtell, Nebraska for the last 10 years.
Deena enjoyed listening to music, drawing, and coloring pictures.
Deena was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Maurice and Rosella Berg; paternal grandparents, Emil and Agnes Rech; and her sister Mindy.
Her mother Paula Rech passed away on August 28, 2019, the day after Deena died.
Deena is survived by her father Don Rech; brothers, David Rech and Larry Rech, all of Malvern, IA; other relatives; and the staff and residents at Mosaic Village.
