Pauline Bremer
October 21, 1932 - August 30, 2019

Pauline Bremer, of Summit Lake, died Friday, August 30, 2019, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 86 years old. She was born on October 21, 1932, a daughter of George and Bertha (Brede) Donovan. She married Gene Bremer on December 5, 1950, in Deerbrook. He preceded her in death on May 10, 1986.

Mrs. Bremer worked for the United States Postal Service for many years. She served as Postmaster at the Summit Lake Post Office retiring in 1989.

Her hobbies included gardening, knitting, reading and completing jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Bremer and Barbara Bremer both of Summit Lake; three grandchildren Morgan (Andrew) Rindfleisch, Mitchell Bremer and Jacklyn Garcia; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four sisters, Arline (Floyd "Bud") Redeen, Wausau, Donna Stops, East Troy, Beverly (Colin "Chuck") Handeyside, Elcho, Judy Bohne, Summit Lake; a brother, Robert "Butch" (Jeanne) Donovan, Summit Lake; a sister-in-law, Mary Donovan; a brother-in-law, Herbert Miller; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons, David and Roger Bremer; a sister, Geraldine Miller; a brother, George Donovan; and a brother-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Stops.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Bradley Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Radke officiating. Burial will take place in Lakeside Cemetery, Summit Lake.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
