Virginia A. Weaver, 83, of South Whitley, Ind., passed away at 5:56 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2019 at her home. Born September 9, 1935 in Williamsport, Pa., she was the daughter of Reading and Tressa (Danneker) Moore.
She attended high school while living in Pennsylvania before moving to California, Larwill and South Whitley. On January 7, 1956 Ginny married Charles R. Weaver. Virginia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband of 63 years, Chuck Weaver; children, Cathy (Ron) Steinman, of New Haven and Dane (Brenda) Weaver, of Warsaw; grandchildren, Eric (Connie) Steinman, Greg Weaver and Brittany (Travis) Hartman; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Eugene Moore; and a sister.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements with DeMoney-Grimes, a Life Story Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Dr., Columbia City.
