Angela Magazu, of North Wales, died peacefully on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in the Abington Hospice at Warminster. She was 72 years old.
Born in Miami, FL, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Schueler) Magazu.
Angela was a 1965 graduate of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Gwynedd Mercy College in 1969 and her Master's Degree from Lehigh University. She was a reading specialist in the Wissahickon School District for 35 years prior to her retirement.
Angela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William A. Gallagher in 2017. She is survived by her close friends Anne and Paul McHugh and Nancy LaRosa, who thought of her as a mother. She will be greatly missed by many other dear friends and neighbors.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rd, North Wales, PA 19454.
Angela's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM with the Rev. William J. Teverzczuk as Celebrant. Interment will be at a later date in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
