"20 years ago I was researching the Christofferson family tree. Iola was a wealth of family history and very generous with her time. She and I became good friends after many long conversations. I met her in person when my Dad (Sonny Christofferson) and I coordinated a family reunion in Muscatine Iowa. I maintained my friendship with her over the years and she never failed to send me a birthday card or a letter. I will miss her kindness and generous spirit but feel blessed to have gotten to know her. "
