John Wilhelm Kauschel, 50, of Austin, Texas, passed away on August 23rd at his home in Austin, Texas. John was born in Austin to Roger and Ruth Kauschel on March 13, 1969.
John went to high school at Perry School and went on to earn a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. John worked as a Tax Examiner for the IRS for 20 years.
John enjoyed traveling, movies, 80s hair bands, and playing video games.
John is survived by his brother, Kevin Kauschel of Austin, Tx and sister, Kyra Kauschel of San Antonio, Tx. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Ruth Kauschel.
A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Sunday, September 8 at 2:00pm.
