Robert G. Johnson, age 93, son of Robert and Hedwig Johnson, was born on January 28, 1926 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed on September 5, 2019 in Fremont, Nebraska. Robert was a WWII veteran, devoted Husker fan, avid bowler, lifelong electrician and an amazing grandpa. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Colleen; and daughter, Pamela. Robert is survived and will be missed by daughters: Glenda L. Burkes, Mardy (Scott) Gardner; 9 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Darlene Nash; and many other family and friends.
SERVICES 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service. Burial following services at Forest Lawn Cemetery with military honors by the Army National Guard and Benson VFW Post 2503.
