In loving memory of

Justin David Malott
July 11, 1989 - September 6, 2019

On September 6th, 2019 we lost our beloved little demon, Justin David (JD, "Torch") Malott. JD left us by doing what he loved most, riding on two wheels and being free. JD was born on July 11, 1989 to David and Stephanie Malott in Austin, Texas. He went to school in the Hays school district and during these years he was an active member of his community as a Boy Scout, a member of the Rebel Band, MCJROTC, Tennis, Track, and Football teams. In his free time, he enjoyed playing disc golf, riding dirt bikes, working on cars, and cooking with his family. JD graduated from Hays High School in July of 2007. He met the love of his life Adriauna (AJ) on Halloween 2016 and married her on Friday 13 in October 2017, and his family of four began. He was an amazing father to Aiden, 9 and Konnor, 4, and if you knew JD, than you knew nothing was more important to him than his family. He loved to talk about them and share what they were up to anywhere he went. JD was the bright spot in the family. The room would always light up when he walked in. He loved to laugh and wanted you to laugh with him. He loved to tease and his smiles were infectious, but his hugs; oh his hugs are what made him legendary. As his parents, we are blessed and honored to honestly and truly say we have never met a person who's heart wasn't touched by our son, JD.

JD had many and ever changing passions, but after breaking his back in 2017, he turned to the one thing he always loved to do with his mama. JD went back to school at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. So many people can tell you how well our boy could cook. He had talked with us many times about his plans after school to open a restaurant where he could teach students with disabilities how to cook during the day and open the restaurant for dinner at night.

His love of motorcycles began just before he got out of high school. He especially loved it when he would ride with his dad. He and his 3 best friends started the Pretorians Motorcycle Club in 2015. The love he had for his motorcycle community was unlike anything either of his parents had ever seen. JD was your friend the moment he met you. He always gave you a hug and told you he loved you, and I can tell you if you ever got one of those hugs or an I love you, you know he meant it. He will be terribly missed by everyone who ever met him.

JD is survived by his wife Adriauna (AJ) Malott and two children Aiden and Konnor; his parents, David and Stephanie Malott; Mother-in-law Rene Matte; Grandparents, Phyllis and Dennis Klein, brother-in-law, Uwais Snav, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and a great aunt. JD "Torch" Malott is also survived by his remaining eleven club members.

Please join us in celebrating the life of our son and an individual who surrounded himself with the best of company.

A celebration of JD's life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Harrell's Funeral Home, 1715 Kirby, Kyle. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the education account that has been set up for the boys at Greater Texas Federal Credit Union.

"I am so sorry that I am just hearing about your passing. After moving to The DFW area back in 2013 I lost touch with so many. I have so many great memories together going to school just about our whole lives. The track meets and sporting events. You will greatly missed and my condolences to your wife, children, and family. "Hello, Stephanie. I am so sorry you and David are having to go through this great pain. I remember seeing lots and lots of photos of JD in your office, and your love for each other was very apparent in every one of them. I just had the opportunity to look at some of them again in the slideshow that revealed JD's joyful spirit. Wishing you both enough hugs when you need them..."

"I am so sorry for your loss. JD was a classmate of my daughter. Later I saw him at his son's school doing what dads do... dropping off in the morning, parent conferences, attending field day, etc. He will definitely be missed! "

"Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort. Our son and JD were very good friend during their teen years and I think often of the time when JD & Preston sang & danced on our roof while helping us put Christmas lights up. Every Christmas for the past 12 year or so, I can still hear them singing out. (SouI Sister) in the most girlest voice ever. I will forever remember! Tim & Dena David"
