Gregory Alan Patterson
August 20, 1986 - September 1, 2019

Gregory Alan Patterson, age 33, formerly of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 1, 2019. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. at the Monroe American Legion, located at 105 East Marion Street Monroe, Iowa. Greg was born August 20, 1986 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was raised in Monroe, Iowa and graduated from PCM High School in 2005. Greg worked for Hewitt's Service Center in Monroe during high school and for a time after. He then went to work at Astoria in Chariton, Cunningham-Reis, and most currently in Des Moines at O'Reilly's Auto Parts.
Greg's greatest love were his children, Drake and Peyton, as well as his love for working on cars, sound systems, and tires. He liked Chevy's, but loved his Momma's Mustang. Greg could be described as straightforward, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He loved his family and friends with a giant heart. He was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan.

Greg will be greatly missed by his children, Drake and Peyton; his father, Jeffery "Stumpy" (Karen) Patterson; his mother, Teresa (Tim Burnsworth) Steil; siblings: Randy (Brittany Lee) Steil, and Roni (Dalton Barber) Steil; his partner, Alisa Morrison and her children and grandparents: William (Cheryl) Patterson, Norma Jean Knight and Claudia Wimmer; along with many relatives and friends.
