Virginia loved being a mom. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and her eyes lit up and a warm welcoming smile appeared the moment she saw them. Holidays and birthday get togethers were some of her favorite times. She loved to cook big meals and talk and laugh. She had a wonderful sense of humor.

"Virginia was an amazing women. I was a grandchild but only by marriage since the age of 3 but, that never mattered to her. I remember being quiet the brat and always being yelled at for sitting in her raspberry bushes, eating all her berries, lol. She always had cookies to eat, ice cream cones & one of the best cooks ever. While my last name was not Koenig but my dad is, Jim, was privileged to be a part of part of the family. I have many memories of holidays, gatherings and always making a trip to the farm to see Bud & Ginny. I know she was one hell of a woman who enjoyed laughing. Thank you for loving me. RIP. "
