Viola E. Muller, 91, of Allison, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. She was born on July 6, 1928, in rural Stout, Iowa, to Dick and Dora (Clausen) Rewerts.
Viola attended rural Stout country schools. She was united in marriage to Johnny Muller on August 6, 1950, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Viola was a homemaker, but also worked at Powers Sewing Factory and O'Brien Brothers Sewing Factory in Bedford, Iowa.
Viola was a member of the Dumont Reformed Church and served on the Reformed Church Women committee. She attended many flea markets and auctions. Viola collected vases and could be found doing her puzzle books. She loved wintering in the south, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Viola is survived by her daughter Sheryle (Lee) Hutchison of Waverly, son Meryle (Mary) Muller of Plainfield, son Rodney (Gerda) Muller of Hampton, son Wendell (Susie) Muller of Clarksville and daughter Marcyne (Larry) Fuller of Allison, 21 grandchildren Chad, Jessica, Jennifer, Jenae, Julayne, Mariah, Joel, Aaron, Sonia, Sandy, Shane, Sarah, Jami, Lance, Dacia, Ryan, Travis, Eric, Felicia, Joshua and Zachary, 43 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, sister Joan Moore of Hansell, sisters-in-law Betty Rewerts of Allison and Tillie Geiken of Alden and brother-in-law Roland Endelman of Charles City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Johnny Muller, son Wayne Muller, brothers Leo, Dwight, Roy and Dean Rewerts, sisters Luella Eiklenborg and Mary Dixon.
