She was a driven businesswoman, an advocate for those who struggled and a wonderful hostess for more gatherings than any of us can count.

"My great aunt Carolyn was a beautiful woman inside and out. We connected later in life and I am thankful for getting to know her and her brother Ray over the past years. In the summer of 2018, my mother and I had a lovely visit with Carolyn and went down memory lane driving around to special places from the past. This was our last visit together and was so incredibly special. Such a wonderful and cherished memory for me. I wish that I had more photos to share, but I have attached a few including a favorite place of hers, the Arboretum, and her famous cinnamon bread. She will be missed greatly. Deepest sympathies to all. "

"I will always remember aunt Carolyn as a sweet kind woman who loved her family so passionately and wholeheartedly. Whenever my sister and I visited with our dad she always made sure we had a good time. I will miss her kindness and warmth, but I am also so thankful to have known her. -Lea Redding"
