In loving memory of

Roberta Louise Brandenburg
December 8, 1951 - September 10, 2019

Roberta Louise Brandenburg, 67, of Burlington died September 10, 2019 at her home.
Born December 8, 1951 in Riverdale, North Dakota she was the daughter of Robert and Viola (Strand) Stahl. She married Ronald Brandenburg on June 4, 1977 in Monmouth, Illinois. Together they celebrated 42 years of marriage.
She was a 1969 graduate of Quincy High School in Quincy, Illinois. She graduated in 1970 from Bauder Fashion College in Miami, Florida. After her graduation she modeled for Carson Pirie Scott & Co. She then graduated SCC as a Licensed Practitioner Nurse. She managed Park Madison Apartments for 33 years and then worked as a traveling nurse until her retirement.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Robbie was a wonderful person who showed love to everyone she came in contact with. She was caring and beautiful inside and out. She was the most giving person throughout her entire life. She loved to talk and her motherly advice will be most missed by her children. She loved the sun, to cook, bowling and wine. She very much enjoyed her occupation as a nurse.
Robbie was most known for her wonderful sense of humor - that will be missed the most. Most importantly she adored her grandchildren and enjoyed every second she was able to spend with them.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Brandenburg of Burlington; two daughters, Brandi (Andrew Longfellow) Hansel of North Liberty, Iowa and Bridgette Brandenburg of Burlington; one son Ronnie (Brittanie) Brandenburg of Burlington; two step-daughters, Rhonda (Rick) Frandsen of Kansas City, Missouri and Lori Cooley of West Burlington; two sisters, Jackie (Dan) Yoder of St. College, Pennsylvania and Bonnie Olson of Waitsburg, Washington; seven grandchildren, Austin Hansel, Presley Hansel, Adessa Brandenburg, Ava Brandenburg, Adilyn Brandenburg, Kingston Brandenburg and Kennix Brandenburg and one brother Bobby Stahl of Stillwater, Minnesota.
