"Sorry for the loss of your brother. Denis was a classmate in high school."
"A kind and gentle soul."
"I first met Denis years ago, and I found him to be a good and decent man. I can't say that about most people I meet in my profession. He was definitely an unique person, and I am quite sure the world will be less interesting without him. May God be with his family and friends, may he rest in peace and may flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. Godspeed Denis. Jeff Hazen"
"I believe that Denis is now at peace, and that brings joy in the midst of saying goodbye. I met Denis at the House of Compassion and he had a huge impact on me. I will never forget walking in to Christmas Eve services at Redeemer several years ago and sitting down next to Denis. His face reflected a peace that I had not seen before. I know his days after that were not often peaceful, but the Lord was with him and he knew that. My sympathies to the family. Denis was a complicated person, but his life was not without purpose. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven one day. "
"We are so sorry to hear that Denis has passed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. "
