Keith Charles Conger
February 17, 1944 - September 16, 2019

Keith "Butch" Charles Conger Jr., 75, of Burlington died 11:37 a.m. September 16, 2019 at his home.
Born February 17, 1944 in Burlington, Iowa he was the son of Keith L. Sr. and Juanita (Inghram) Conger. He married Lorie Hepker on June 6, 1987 in Burlington.
Butch worked as a custodian for the Burlington School District for 25 years. In addition he was an auctioneer.
He was a member of St. Luke United Church of Christ.
As an auctioneer he performed many charitable fund raisers and auctions. He loved attending garage sales, classic car shows and was a Jeff Gordon fan. His passion was his time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lorie Conger of Burlington; two daughters Brenda (Marty) Summers of Cotulla, Texas and Belinda (Brian) Mehaffy of Danville, Iowa; one son Noah (Samantha) Orman of Aurora, Nebraska; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Miller and Nancy Christofferson both of Burlington and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, twin great grandsons and one brother Donald Stewart.
The funeral service for Butch will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 19th at Lunning Chapel. Pastor Peggy Stott will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18th at Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends.
A memorial has been established for the Special Needs Foundation.

( Gold wing road riders ) he was in charge of the gold wings many years he always made it fun for everyone always had a joke. And made everyone He is definitely going to be missed. "I will never forget when my daughter was younger and I would see Butch and Lorie at Walmart Butch was always threatening to steal my daughter and take her to the toy section and let her pick out any toy she wanted or he would stand and talk to me about life in general. He always seemed to care how me and my family was doing. I will miss him dearly. He had a heart of gold. R.I.P. Butch "
