Joan Elizabeth Dietz Giambatista, age 58, of Toms River, passed away at home Thursday, September 19, 2019. She was born in Jamestown, New York and was raised in Lakewood NY and Syracuse New York before moving to Toms River in 1970. In High School, she was an active member of band and key club. Joan was a loving mother, sister, a wonderful friend, and a great woman who has touched many hearts. Joan will forever be missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
She was predeceased by her sister Suzanne, and her parents Nancy and Howard Dietz.
She is survived by her two sons, Michael Giambatista and his wife, Katy of Phillipsburg, NJ and Peter Gruppuso of Toms River, NJ. She also leaves her sister Lois Sisto and nephew, Daniel Sisto of Phillipsburg, NJ. And her niece Susan Dietz of Erie P.A.
Cremation was entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
