Patricia "Patty" A. Tomasek
June 27, 1948 - September 24, 2019

Patricia Muntz-Tomasek was born June 27, 1948 in David City, NE to Ella and Carl L. Muntz Jr. She graduated in 1966 from Omaha Benson High School attaining skills to become a secretary. She worked in Military Sales and Foreign Operations at Mutual of Omaha for 13 years. After working in VPO, HDC and Tax departments of Union Pacific for 31 years, she retired in 2010.

Patty married Terry Tomasek on April 28, 1978 and they had two children: John - Omaha, Ne and Heather - Omaha, Ne.

Family was #1 for Patty and she made a house a home. She was a hard worker and tackled many jobs. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and active in First Methodist Churches and was a member of the Ladies Circle. Through the years, she was involved in Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts and ushered at the Omaha Community Playhouse and Orpheum Theater for over 40 years.

Patty appreciated good food and liked "The Bohemian Cafe" with kolaches and desserts. Through the years, she made people happy by doing nice things for others and was always thoughtful and caring toward everyone. Patty had a good sense of humor and was a "people person." She touched the lives of many and will be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; children: John Tomasek (Amber), Heather Tomasek (Rick Knudtson); grandchildren: Sawyer, Ella, and Sadie; brothers: Donnie Muntz, Gary Muntz; other relatives and friends.

SERVICES 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation 1:00-3:00 P.M. Sunday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Graveside Service 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 30 at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Even going through her own health battles, Patty found the strength to reach out to those of us suffering great loss. Patty, my friend, I pray the Lord has a warm, glowing smile for you as well."
