Carmalee Ashwood
Canton - Carmalee Ashwood, 87, of Canton, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born on December 10, 1931 in St. David to Cecil and Leah (Fox) Watts. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, David (Tammy) Ashwood, Randy (Marie) Ashwood, Paul (Renee) Ashwood, and Jeff (Janice) Ashwood, one stepbrother Clarence Sprecher, one step sister Betty Jean, numerous grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Carmalee worked as an LPN at Graham Hospital for over 40 years, she enjoyed crafts, crocheting, and sewing. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton where she enjoyed helping with Vacation Bible School, the food pantry, and making crafts for all the holidays.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.at the First Baptist Church in Canton with a visitation being held one hour prior to the service at the church. A funeral luncheon will immediately follow at the church.
Memorials may be made to the family.
