J.B. Ledbetter
April 11, 1932 - October 1, 2019

Funeral Services for Mr. J.B. Ledbetter, age 87, of Livingston, Tennessee will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2019 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Jeremy Gengler will officiate. Burial to follow in the Daniels Cemetery, with Military Honors provided by the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening from 5 until 9 p.m., with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.

Mr. Ledbetter passed from this life on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2019 from St. Thomas West in Nashville. He was born in the Howards Chapel Community in Overton County on April 11, 1932 to the late Bradley & Bessie Garrett Ledbetter. J.B. was a barber on the Livingston Courthouse Square for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Livingston and a 50 year member of the Livingston Masonic Lodge #259. J.B. enjoyed gardening, raising pigs and cattle on his farm, country and gospel music, squirrel hunting, and fishing with his family. He also enjoyed target shooting and Cadillacs. J.B. was a strong democrat and never missed an election.

J.B. leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Mrs.Denise Karen Thebeau Ledbetter of Livingston, TN; sons Timothy J.B. Ledbetter of Livingston, TN, Brett Allen Wilcox & wife Michelle of Toledo, OH, and Brad Ledbetter & wife Tiffany of Livingston, TN; daughter, Tammy Dailey & husband Eddie of Livingston, TN; grandchildren Lucas Dailey, Adam Snyder, Aliyah Snyder, Cheyenne Snyder, Payton Wilcox, Bridget Wilcox, Georgia Wilcox, and Theodore Wilcox; sister, Joyce Wakefield of Livingston, TN; brother, Carl Ledbetter & wife Janice of Livingston, TN; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, J.B. was preceded in death by his sisters, Jewel Bilbrey Bagby and Betty Ledbetter; infant brother John Ledbetter; and brothers Bevy, Larry Paul, Bethel, Levy, Bradley "Son", and Clifford "Cannonball" Ledbetter.

Pallbearers to serve are Eddie Dailey, Lucas Dailey, Troy Vaughn, Larry Eldridge and Kenneth Reeder.

Honorary Pallbearers are Roger Thebeau, James (Lonnie) Garrett, and Harold Thebeau Jr.
