Karen J. Maurer
Canton - Karen J. Maurer, 62, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2019 at her home.
She was born on October 17, 1956 in Centralia, IL to Berthal and Dorine (Puffer) Lance. They preceded her in death along with one sister and four brothers.
She married Richard "Dick" Maurer on April 14, 1990 in Florida. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Kyle Carter of Canton, Jim (Susan) Sagaser of Canton, Tara (Mike) Weber of Peoria, Elizabeth Vogel of Canton, one sister, Judy McIntire of Centralia, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Together with her husband Karen owned and operated SRA Alarms, SRA Rentals and The Canton Radio Shack.
A private graveside funeral service will be held at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton. There will be no visitation per her request.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is entrusted with services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
