Marguerite K. Cassen, 91, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at her home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Nicholas Thackery officiating. A visitation will begin at noon until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Marguerite is survived by her son, Gordon; grandson, Myles Michehl; and great-grandson, Reyd Michehl all of Fort Dodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Freda (Kohnke) Junkman; husband, Lee Roy; daughter, Karen Harms and brothers, Paul and Mervin "Stub".
Marguerite Kathryn Junkman was born July 28, 1928 in Pioneer. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Pioneer High School. She was united in marriage to Lee Roy Cassen in June of 1947. The couple made their home in Fort Dodge. In her younger years, Marguerite enjoyed riding motorcycles and bowling. She was a member of Webster County Crime Stoppers for many years and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
