MUSCATINE, Iowa - Heather Christine Boyd, 32, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Trinity Unity Point Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 11 until 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of Tabitha Story. Online Condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.


Heather was born on February 10, 1987, in Muscatine, the daughter of Steven and Deborah Seright Boyd.

She loved her family and her cats very much! She liked anything out of the ordinary, such as gothic skulls and marched to the beat of her own drum. Heather had a big heart and would always put others before herself.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Odin Phillips and Alexander McGourty, both of Muscatine; her parents, Steven and Deborah Boyd of Muscatine; her brother, Christopher Boyd and Jenny VanWay of Webster; her sister Tabitha Story of Muscatine; her paternal grandmother, Frances Boyd of Muscatine; and several family members also survive.

Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Oscar and Berniece Seright; and paternal grandfather, Jack Boyd.
