Gerald Patzner
April 11, 1950 - November 1, 2019

Gerald James Patzner, 69, of St. Charles died Friday, November 1, 2019 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester. Gerald was born April 11, 1950 in Winona to George and Frances (Mrozek) Patzner. He was raised on the family farm south of Dover and graduated from Dover-Eyota High School in 1968. Gerald served in the United States Army from 1969 - 1971. Following his return from the Army Gerald worked with area farmers and was a farmer at heart. He enjoyed keeping his yard up, gardening, going to sales in search of treasures, watching old westerns, and taking road trips.
He is survived by his significant other, Marilyn Bandt and her family, three sisters, Marilyn (Jerome) Shea of Viola, Geraldine Holzer of St. Charles and Jean Chelenza of Rochester, a brother-in-law, Jim Clemens of Eyota and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Rita Ristau and Joyce Clemens and three brothers-in-law, Art Ristau, Curt Holzer and Duane Chelenza.
A private family Funeral Mass will take place at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in St. Charles with the Reverend Tim Biren officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in St. Charles. Please share a memory of Gerald at his online guestbook at www.hofffuneral.com.
