Deanna Dee Fahrmann
March 2, 1945 - November 4, 2019

Deanna Dee Fahrmann, 74, of Latimer, Iowa, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. She was born March 2, 1945, in Hampton, to Russell and Viola (Meyer) Oleson and grew up on a farm near Dows, Iowa.

Deanna graduated from Dows High School in 1963. She was united in marriage to Dennis Fahrmann on November 22, 1975, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Latimer where they had remained as members. Deanna's life was devoted to caring for her husband, Dennis. They were proud of their two children, Jeff and Amy. Deanna was a homemaker on their small Century Farm where they grew corn and soybeans, raised sheep and chickens, and milked dairy cows over the years. She also worked various odd jobs, such as house cleaning, and made baked goods to sell at the Hampton Farmer's Market for many years. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Franklin County Fair 4-H Food Stand, gardening, grocery and shopping trips with her husband, and visiting their children and grandchildren in Ankeny.

Known to her family as "Dee Dee", she is survived by her husband Dennis Fahrmann; daughter Amy Fahrmann of Ankeny; son Jeff (Mollie) Fahrmann and grandchildren Cael, Colby, and Calla of Ankeny; brother Marvin (Carolyn) Oleson of Latimer; brother Dennis (Linda) Oleson of Dows; along with nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Viola, and brother Ivan Oleson.
