Helen M. Brott, 89, of Rochester, MN died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Season's Hospice.
Helen Mae Rausch was born October 11, 1930 to Edward and Anna (Koenig) Rausch in Rochester, MN. She graduated from Rochester High School in 1949. On December 31, 1960 she married James Brott. She worked for the Rochester school district in various schools for twenty years. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and loved to cheer on the MN Vikings and MN Twins.
Helen is survived by her husband, James of Rochester, MN; one daughter, Teresa Taylor of Hayfield, MN; two sons, Jeff (Stefani) Brott of St. Michael, MN and Gary (Kjersten) Brott of Waukesha, WI; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Marylin Bothwell of Roseville, MN, Carol Ellefson of Rochester, MN and Diane (Dick) Crowl of Clearwater, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; one brother; and one sister.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes (5421 Royal Place NW Rochester, MN). Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
