"Uncle Lessie was a favorite uncle of mine, always had the ?Mullen smile? that was so welcoming. He and all the Mullen Brothers were WWII heroes, served their country ?? and we?re proud of it. I saw Uncle Lessie a lot growing up because as a youngster our Family spent a lot of weekends by Ma and Pa?s in Stockton and Lessie and family would be busy but always there to visit. Uncle Lessie loved his Family and wife Mary who he lost much too soon he also loved my Dad and his favorite saying of my Dads when things got a little tough was ?just let the rough edges drag? in other words don?t worry so much. Rest In Peace Uncle Lessie tell your brothers and sisters in heaven Hi from us Mullen?s."
