Regina C. "Jean" McFadden of Dresher, PA died Friday, November 8, 2019, surrounded by her family.
Born July 11, 1929 in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Susan P. (nee Harkins) O'Malley. She was an active member of St. Alphonsus Parish and the Colony Club of Ambler. She enjoyed participating in her book club and was an avid bridge player, who also loved watching "Jeopardy."
She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Harold E. "Hap" McFadden. She was the devoted mother to Edward H. McFadden (Margie) of Bridgewater, NJ, James J. McFadden (Beth) of North Wales, PA, Joanne Ingram (Michael) of Harleysville, PA, John C. McFadden (Kathy) of Maple Glen, Susan M. Moran (Brian) of Buckingham, PA and Eileen R. Burke (Rich) of Morristown, NJ. Her 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren brought her joy. Jean was predeceased by seven siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Church, 33 Conwell Drive in Maple Glen, PA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Msgr. Brian P. Hennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA.
