"I have many memories of Aunt Georgia. Spent many times at their home in NE Iowa with my parents & again as a married woman in Huxley. We lived around the corner from each other. I will always remember her expressions, laugh and love of card playing. Take care Kim. Would like to reconnect. So sorry for your loss."

Lori Martinez wrote on Nov 12, 2019:

"I grew up across the street from Georgia and have such fond memories of her. She has been a special friend to my mom and was like a Grandma to me. I always looked forward to her plate of goodies at Christmas time, her sugar cookies were the best! She always had the prettiest yard full of flowers and every summer she would be outside all day tending to them no matter how hot it was. I moved away from Ames in 1993 but every trip back home included a visit with Georgia. She'll aways hold a special place in my heart. Lori "
