"Grandon Funeral Home in Ames created a compilation of pictures accompanied by classical music for Mom's memorial service. The video provides us with Mom's journey from her childhood, marriage to dad, raising her three children (Deb, Steve, and Rick), and the enjoyment of her extended family. Memories of my mother will live in my heart forever. I was very fortunate to spend time with my mother in Ames the week before she passed. "Well this saddens me SO much. I carried mail to the family the last several years and my customers became more than just addresses. My thoughts are with you all, Sandy Hunerdosse "

"I and many other polio survivors will be forever grateful for Norma's leadership, deep concern & love for all of us from the time she cofounded the Iowa Polio Survivors group until it disbanded in 2015. She will be missed not only by those in Iowa but others across the country who she met at conferences and by internet. Godspeed, dear friend! love Janice"
