In loving memory of

Mildred Mae Clark
October 30, 1926 - October 30, 2019

Mildred "Millie" Clark died Wednesday October 30, 2019 on her 93rd birthday, at Maple Crest Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Millie was born Mildred Mae Newton in 1926 in Diagonal, Iowa. She attended Washington Elementary and graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1944, and married James "Pete" Massey a year later. They built a home in North Omaha, raised three children and all were active in the local community. James died in 1971 after a protracted illness, and Millie was remarried a few years later to Mike Clark of North Omaha; they enjoyed several years with grandchildren, travelling, and church and civic activities until Mike passed in 1988.
Millie was very skilled in office administration and spent several years in the workforce, including Northern Natural Gas Company and MassMutual Life Insurance Company. She found comfort and joy in her church community; she was a mainstay of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in North Omaha in countless service roles. In later years she was very active with All Saints Episcopal Church. Influenced by her commitment to serving others, her children all sought careers where they, too, could be of service.
Millie was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Helen Newton; husband, James Massey; and husband, Michael Clark. Millie is survived by son Michael Massey of Topeka, Kansas; daughter Linda McMillen of Omaha; son Peter Massey of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren Jason Lott, Christopher Massey, Lindsay McMillen and Elizabeth Massey; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE 10:30 A.M., Tuesday November 26, 2019 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9302 Blondo Street. Graveside service to follow at 1:30 P.M. at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
