Norma Jean Ingham
March 30, 1935 - November 11, 2019

Norma Jean Ingham age 84, of Ames, Iowa died on November 11, 2019 at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames with her husband by her side. Norma's family will receive family and friends Saturday Nov 16, 1-3:00 p.m. at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care, 414 Lincoln Way, Ames, a Celebration of Life service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral center.

Norma was born on March 30, 1935 at her home in Wright County, Iowa to Vernard and Mildred (Hill) Pepper as the oldest of six children. She graduated from Colo High School in 1953, marrying her high school sweetheart Harl Ingham on June 27, 1953. The couple had the experiences of living in Iowa, Wyoming, Washington, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin before returning to Ames where they could be close to their family.

Norma enjoyed attending lots of grandchildren's sports and music activities as well as family gatherings. She enjoyed drawing, painting, playing cards, bird watching, photography and a comfortable chair with a book. She was an avid ISU/Iowa sport fan and Boise State football fan. Best of all Norma was a wonderful homemaker as well as a very loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Great Grandmother also known as "Granny".

Norma is survived by her husband, Harl Ingham of 66 years, a daughter, MarlaKay Jean (Richard) Lepper and their family Austin (Amanda) Lepper their children Eloise, Charlotte, Flora and Margot, Ryan (Diana) Lepper and daughter, Geneva, Chelsie (Drew) Dickson and their children, Kinley, Brooklyn and Jovie, a son, Joel (Cathy) Ingham and their children, Alexandra Ingham, Anastasia (Nick) Andreson and son Kevin Andreson, and Andre Ingham, sisters Marladene Tice, Carol (Bill) Severidt and three brothers, Virgil (Carol) Pepper, Jim (Linda) Pepper and Julian (Karen) Pepper.

In lieu of flowers memorials given to the family will be donated to multiple myeloma cancer research.
