"I just happened up to the Operating Room today and came across this terrible news. I worked weekends for many years and frequently crossed paths with Dave. He was my processing resource, a person I could always count on. Many interactions were spent discussing turkey hunting, the Quincy bluff area, his family farm back in Portage, and deer hunting in Lewiston and Newport. He always had a smile on his face and I always enjoyed our interactions. He will be missed by many outside of your family. My deepest condolences to all of you. Jeremy Olson"

"I am so thankful to have had this man in my life growing up. Most of my favorite memories include him being there. From car rides with him, Haley and Pepe, Ice cream from Culver?s after dance class, the horrible smell in the house from him making home made beer, the endless laughs... he is truly a a good one gone too soon. Dave always made me feel like family. I?ll miss you. Thank you for all the memories. "
