In loving memory of

Ferlie B. Woolridge
March 10, 1939 - November 13, 2019

Ferlie B. Woolridge was born March 10, 1939 in Bearden, Arkansas to Reed and Rhodie Parham. She was the baby girl of her seven siblings. Ferlie entered into eternal life peacefully on November 13, 2019 surrounded by her family. While family and friends called her Ferlie, she was known to most as "Granny." She affectionately earned this name for her ability to issue out discipline to a needed backside and give a warm hug, gracious smile and a good meal to many. Ferlie had many accomplishments during her lifetime . First and foremost, she accepted Christ as her personal savior, was very active in her church and had a love for gospel music. She was wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a licensed beautician, had a career and retired from Bergan Mercy Hospital after 37 years of dedicated service and she insisted on becoming a Walmart Greeter so that she could continue to work until she was 78 years old. Ferlie's most fun accomplishment was her style of dress and ability to wear her stilettos until she was 70+ years old. Ferlie is survived by her three daughters, Gail Curtis (Donald), Sheila Woolridge-Hardy (Joe) and Valerie Ward (Joe); her grandsons, Andre Woolridge, William Morrison, Lamar Woolridge and Marcus McCormick; her granddaughters, Candice Nelson, Mesha Woolridge, Constance Caldwell, Teesha Woolridge, Machiba Gore, Moriah Brocks; 18 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Brenda Parham; cousin she loved as a sister, Marie Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Woolridge (Frank) and Sherman W. Woolridge (our Patriarch).
