When I asked your Uncle Sean if he was a priest, I don't remember who laughed harder - Sean, Uncle Jody or Cait. I'm pretty sure it was Cait, but it wasn't until several years later that I realized the humor in that question. How lucky your children are to have you for a Mom, just as James and Peg were lucky to be blessed with you as a daughter, and Pat, Peggy and Maire were blessed to have you as their sister. Caitlin McQueeney, 64, of Kingston, NY, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 14, 2019. She was born on June 9, 1955 in Mineola, NY the daughter of the late James and Margaret McQueeney.
She is survived by her husband, Gregory McElroy, her children, Declan McElroy, Mairead McElroy, Fiona McElroy and her partner Dustin Bryant, Malachi McElroy, and Sarah Dawson and her husband Peter, her siblings, Margaret McQueeney and her husband Ralph Kessler, Maire Strong her husband Michael, her grandchildren, Nicholas, Emma, and James Dawson as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arrangements entrusted to A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 4pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at St. Joseph's RC Church, 242 Wall St., Kingston, NY 12401. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kingston.
