In loving memory of

Dorothy Jane Kosinski
September 27, 1926 - November 19, 2019

Dorothy Jane Kosinski, 93, formerly of Antigo, Wisconsin, passed away on November 19, 2019, at Auberge Oak Village, Menominee Falls, WI. She was born on September 27, 1926, in Hillsdale, Michigan, the daughter of Donald and Blanche (Forbes) Perry. She married Daniel Kosinski on August 16, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The couple had celebrated 65 years of marriage. After his passing on July 25, 2013 Dorothy moved to Theinsville.

She was a graduate of West Division High School in Milwaukee and Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing.
Dorothy worked as a Registered Nurse at Langlade Memorial Hospital in Antigo for 17 years before retiring in 1986. Her passion was working with babies and in the ER. She was a help mate to her husband, working along side him on their mink ranch. She later assisted in their insurance agency, as his secretary. She was a caring home maker raising 14 children. She valued time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was an active member of the Antigo Community Church, Antigo Sparks-Doernenburg American Legion Post #3-Auxiliary, Antigo Area Christian Women's Club, PTA at Crestwood Elementary, and a leader of Antigo's Triple Progress 4H.

She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting, playing cards with her family, board games, puzzles, traveling, and baking pies and bread (which by the way were amazing). She was an excellent seamstress, making many of the children's clothes, including several of her daughters' wedding dresses. She passed on those skills and many of her other talents to her children and grandchildren. She and her husband were great dancers and the family loved to watch them dance together.

Dorothy loved her Lord and desired for her life to be a testimony for Him. She was confident in the hope of her salvation and looked forward to spending eternity in heaven with Jesus.
