"I am so sorry. I worked for Criss for a couple of summers during college. He was so much more than a boss, he was a great friend and the big brother I never had. Due to having spent the last 30 years living on the west coast, I lost touch with Criss, and so many of my other Iowa friends, although I have thought of him often over the years. Criss Dreier, 69, of Dumont, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019, at his home. The body has been cremated. There will be no services.
Criss married Nancy Barton in 1973. One daughter was born into this union. They later divorced. He married Judy Stumme in 1978. One daughter and three sons were born to this union. They later divorced.
Criss was owner / operator of Bible Concrete Construction from 1978 until 1995.
Criss is survived by his two daughters, three sons and 14 grandchildren; one brother, Eugene, and one brother-in-law, Don Rew. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother David and sister Bonnie.
Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton is assisting the family.
