"My sympathy to all of John?s family. I remember John as a kind, patient, generous man who was also fun to be with. When I started my career at IBM, John was my team leader. It was mostly just the two of us working on a project. He was a wonderful mentor, patient, understanding and supportive. Before long, he had me bowling in a league with him and another couple. Fun and laughter was the agenda on those nights! John also took me for a ride in his plane to see my childhood home. What an experience for a small town/small farm girl! He was a wonderful man! May God shower all of you with peace and comfort. Maureen Bhaskaran "

"I met John many years ago in the IBM billiard league, and always enjoyed his company and his love of the game. Even though it has been 30 years since I talked to John, I can still hear his New York accent, touched with humor and intelligence. So sorry for your loss. Fred Baldwin"
