MUSCATINE, Iowa - Margaret 'Darlene' Adams, 84, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, December 2, 2019, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Susan Bantz will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.

Margaret was born on August 29, 1935, in Atalissa. She married Lyndal L. Adams on July 23, 1953, in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Margaret's career was in home health care. She worked for Dr. Roudybush for many years until his retirement and then continued working in home healthcare in Muscatine. She was always caring for people. Her laughter always healed those around her. She was a member of Faith United Church.
She enjoyed interior decorating, cooking, baking, and decorating for the holidays. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Margaret had a great sense of humor with a loving and giving heart. She was a second mother to many who called her 'Mom'.
Margaret is survived by her children, Cynthia 'Cindy' Skipton and husband, Dan, of Muscatine, Lynda Adams of California, Lynette LaScala of Marina Del Ray, California, and Randy Adams and wife, Kathy, of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Scott Skipton and Angel Gibson, Stephanie Prashant and husband, Kumar, Tina Skipton, Shane Nicolas, Shayla Cully, Shyann Cully, Cody LaScala and fiancé, Monica Montgomery, Bryan LaScala and fiancé, Mindy D.Lucia, Sarah Schmidt, and Trisha Nartker and husband, Jeremy; 11 great grandchildren, Lexie, Kaylee, Caitlin, Logan, Addison, Chayten, Maya, Rhyder James, Shaya, Bryson ,and Aiden; one great great granddaughter, Everly; and two brothers, Dewayne Essex and wife, Gwen, of Des Moines, and Wendal Essex, and wife, Debbie, of Wilton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Lyndal and son, Bryan, on April 24, 1987; a grandson, Matt on December 17, 2017; one brother William 'Willie' Essex; and one sister, Deanna Templeman.
