Ronald E. Emerine
May 29, 1929 - December 1, 2019

Ronald E. Emerine, of Dresher, PA died peacefully on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, PA. He was 90 years old. Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Ronald was the son of the late Edward and Imogene (Maxey) Emerine. He grew up in Brandon and Pueblo, Colorado.

Mr. Emerine received a full scholarship to attend Yale University, where he graduated in 1951. In 1976, he earned a Master's Degree from Pace University. He worked as a bricklayer's helper at the CF&I steel mill in Pueblo during high school and through college summers. He was employed by AT&T for 32 years, retiring in 1985 while serving as Assistant Corporate Secretary.

A true Renaissance man, Ronald was a Penn State Master Gardener and a member of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. An avid runner, he completed 26 marathons. He was a talented artist and photographer and was his family's archivist. Ronald and his wife were experienced world travelers.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Orpha (nee Carlson) Emerine. He was preceded in death by his daughter Susan Neibert in 2012. He is the devoted father of Corinna Rowe and her husband Michael of Chino Valley, AZ; Christine Paris and her husband Albert of Wyndmoor, PA; and son- in- law Michael Neibert of Chatham, NJ. Ronald is the adored grandfather of Alissa Walmsley (Michael), Katie DeVito (Michael), Julianna Paris, Vincent Paris (Dorri) and great grandfather of Oliver and Matthew Walmsley.

The family will hold a private celebration of Ron's life at a later date.
