November 2, 1944 - February 9, 2016

Thomas J. Wierciszewski, 71 of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at home. Born in Jersey City, he lived in Jackson and Forked River before moving to Toms River.
Tom worked for Yellow Freight Company for many years, and was the owner and captain of the Kris-Nor lobster boat in Belmar. He loved the ocean, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed crabbing. He especially loved to prepare his catch for family and friends. Tom was a devoted dad, and a beloved Pop Pop, brother, uncle and nephew who will be greatly missed. He could often be heard saying Family sticks togetherNo matter what!
Predeceased by his parents, Chester and Anna, his brother Chester, and nephews, Michael and Christopher; Tom is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Kristen and Chris Milos of Jackson and Leonora and Kevin Stevens of Brick; sisters, MaryAnn Ference and Alberta Jaconski; 6 grandchildren, Anna, Trinity, Morgan, Rita, Chris Jr., and Madelyn; and his nephew Justin.
Relatives and friends may attend viewing hours on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:00am at the Church of St. Pius the Tenth 300 Lacey Road, Forked River. Private cremation will follow.
