John L. Hodapp Sr.
November 29, 1926 - June 4, 2016

John L. Hodapp Sr., age 89 of Lanoka Harbor, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016. Born in Newark, NJ on November 29, 1926 to Henry and Emily Hodapp, he lived in New Jersey most of his life.
John served in the US Navy during WWII and was an aircraft instrument assembler, working for Multi Tech in Marlboro, NJ for many years. He enjoyed gardening, playing billiards and horseshoes. After retiring, he and his wife spent time traveling and eventually settled in North Carolina, where John loved to fly kites. He later moved back to New Jersey to live with his son.
John is survived by his 6 children, Joseph R. Hodapp; Debra Oettinger; Patricia Werner; Marie Pascucci; Carol Tomasula; and John (Lenny) Hodapp; his grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends may attend visiting hours from 4pm until 8pm on Wednesday June 8, 2016 at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731. Cremation will be private.
