Linus W Monroe
July 15, 1935 - March 3, 2015

LINUS W. MONROE JR. age 79 of Forked River passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at home.
Born in Paterson, he lived in Clifton before moving to Forked River 18 years ago. Linus was a Diesel Mechanics Teacher at Somerset County Vocational Technical Institute for 20 years retiring in 2000.

Predeceased by his wives, Marguerite in 1989 and Elke in 2009; he is survived by his 6 children; Judy Papania, Glenn (Jackie) Monroe, Gail (Jack) Babcock, Lynn Monroe, Jean (Jorge) Estomba and Alice (Anthony) Carra; his brother Robert; and 15 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00am from St. John Kanty RC Church, Clifton. Interment will follow in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
