David J. Bickler
November 6, 1957 - December 4, 2019

David J Bickler, of Pearson, died peacefully Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at Aurora Medical Center Summit. He was 62 years old. He was born on November 6, 1957, in Antigo, a son of the late Eyvonne (Heller) Bickler and William Bickler, Sr. of White Lake. He married Maxine Mischler on November 10, 1979.

Dave enlisted in the United States Navy on April 29, 1975 and served until April 28, 1977. He was an airman on the USS Kitty Hawk and stationed in the Philippines and Florida Keys.

He received an associates degree in business from Nicolet Area Technical College in Rhinelander.

Dave owned and operated Auto Pros in Post Lake for many years then worked with his brother-in-law at Pickerel Auto Body.

Dave had a passion for cars - especially refinishing his muscle cars. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends, and a good fish fry every Friday.

Survivors including his father are two daughters, Heather (Shannon) Hoeffler of Oconomowoc, Jessica (Scott) Seymour of Omaha, Nebraska; six grandchildren Arhianna and Jacob Hoeffler, Kinsley, Lainey Macey and Piper Seymour; a brother, Kevin (Marcie) Bickler of Crivitz; a sister, Kelly Volm of Michigan; step-brother, Kim (Anne) Volm of San Diego, California.

He was preceded in death by his mother Eyvonne (Carroll Volm); two brothers, William Jr. and Steve Bickler; a step-brother, Jeff Volm; step-mother, Karen Bickler.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at 3 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel with Rev. Dave Zimmerman officiating. Burial will take place in Pearson Cemetery in Spring.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services at church.
The Bradley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
