Dorothy Ann Matuszewski
June 25, 1935 - December 7, 2019

Dorothy Matuszewski, of Antigo, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Aspirus Langlade Hospital. She was 84 years old. She was born on June 25, 1935, in the town of Richmond, Shawano County a daughter of Ferdinand and Wilma (Sperberg) Kohn. She married Eugene Matuszewski on July 9, 1955, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church. He survives.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School with the class of 1953 and attended Langlade County Normal School graduating in 1955. She continued her education by attending University of Wisconsin Stevens Point graduating in 1975 with a bachelors degree in education.

Dorothy taught in the Antigo Unified School District for 30 years.

She loved reading, spending time with her family and enjoyed small animals.

Survivors including her husband are four daughters, Dawn (Jim) Pritchard of Hartford, Lori Novak of Antigo, Sherri (Doug) Difloe of Jacksonville, FL, Crystal (Andy) Deleeuw of Oshkosh; a son, Eugene (Tamie) Matuszewski Jr. of Antigo; a granddaughter Jessi (Brandon) Kinney; two great grandchildren Riley and McKenna; four step-granchildren Courtney, Tory, Christian, and Isaac Kramer; a sister, Gladys Zima of Antigo; a brother, Dennis (Diane) Kohn of Antigo.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Matuszewski; her parents and a son-in-law Michael Novak.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 11 a.m. at SS Mary & Hyacinth Catholic Church with Rev. John Gerritts officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Bradley Funeral Home and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. A parish wake service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
