WELLMAN - Sandra Kay Langdon was born October 13, 1955 in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Melvin and Carolyn (Whaley) Kinzenbaw. She graduated from English Valley High School. Sandra worked as a waitress at the Chat and Chew in Wellman for many years. She enjoyed watching movies, reading, gambling, going to garage sales, making jewelry, and spending time with her dog Pepper. Sandra died on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at the Washington County Hospital in Washington following a long illness at the age of 64 years.
Sandra is survived by a daughter: Jody (Jay) Wagner of New London; a son: Jeremy (Jamie) Kinzenbaw of Washington; 7 grandchildren: Mikayla, Zachary, Jayden and Kylie Wagner, Jace and Jordyn Kinzenbaw, and Karralyn Langdon; 2 step grandchildren Rachel and Paul; 2 great grandchildren: Tatum and Ivy; and 8 siblings: Susan, Teresa, Sharon, Kenneth, Michael, Kristen, Wendy and Eric. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents Kenneth and Helen Kinzenbaw, and a son Jamie Langdon.
Although there will be no service per her wishes, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life gathering at the Goodwin Senior Center in Wellman on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 1-4 PM. The Powell Funeral Home in Wellman is caring for Sandra and her family.
